
Four members of a family in Punganur town, Andhra Pradesh, including a grandfather and three children, died from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning after a motorcycle engine was left running overnight inside their closed home. The bike had been serviced earlier, and the mechanic reportedly advised keeping the engine on. The family members sleeping inside the house were found unresponsive the next morning, while the bike owner and his wife, who slept on the terrace, survived. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
