In Rajasthan's Sriganganagar district, a 22-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death by the brothers of a married woman. Police state the victim was lured to a New Year's Eve party, made to consume alcohol, and then assaulted with pipes. Three accused have been detained. The victim's body was found abandoned in a car on a highway. Investigations are ongoing.
