Decomposed Body of Final-Year Medical Student Found in Kalyani Hostel Room

The decomposed body of Pulak (Pulok) Halder, a 24-year-old final-year MBBS student at Kalyani Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Hospital and Medical College in West Bengal, was found in his locked hostel room after being isolated for about five days. The cause of death remains unclear, with police investigating possible suicide or foul play. Pulak was last seen on February 20 and reportedly faced isolation; police have registered a case and informed his family. The investigation is ongoing.
