Pune Man Arrested for Alleged Murder of Wife Amid Marital Disputes

In Pune's Khadki area, a 56-year-old real estate agent, Dilip Namburi Kandathil, allegedly killed his 53-year-old wife, Bindu Kandathil, reportedly by smothering her with a pillow or gagging her with a blanket. The incident followed frequent quarrels linked to suspicions about his meetings with his ex-wife. Dilip, who later called the police to report the murder, was arrested. Police noted Bindu was undergoing treatment for depression, and the case is under investigation.
