Delhi Police Head Constable Arrested for Alleged Shooting of ED Staffer at Wedding

A Delhi Police head constable, Parvesh, and two relatives were arrested for allegedly shooting dead Ashish Singh, a 30-year-old Enforcement Directorate multi-tasking staff member, at a wedding in Wazirabad, north Delhi. Police said Parvesh used his licensed pistol after suspecting Singh of having an affair with his wife. The incident followed a prior dispute and a threat made three months earlier. Singh was declared dead at a Timarpur trauma centre after being restrained and shot in the chest.
