Two individuals, Inderjit Singh Bhui and Gurvir Singh, were apprehended by Khanna police in Doraha following an exchange of fire. Inderjit Singh sustained a leg injury during the encounter and was hospitalized. The police stated the accused were wanted for opening fire on the acting sarpanch of Rajgarh village on December 24. Two other individuals remain at large. Inderjit Singh is reportedly a proclaimed offender with prior cases against him.
