Delhi Police Constable Arrested for Alleged Fake Police Clearance Certificate Racket

A Delhi Police constable named Arun, posted at Shaheen Bagh police station, was arrested for allegedly running a racket producing fake Police Clearance Certificates (PCCs) with an associate, Tushar. The scheme surfaced during a narcotics probe after a drug trafficker's arrest in southeast Delhi. The duo reportedly charged Rs 1,000-2,000 per forged PCC, delivering them within hours, while genuine PCCs take 10-15 days. Police recovered numerous forged certificates, stamps, and a fake police ID during a raid at their rented accommodation in Sunlight Colony. Two FIRs have been filed related to narcotics and forgery.
