Authorities Conduct Multiple Raids Across India to Curb Illegal LPG Storage and Black Marketing

Authorities across multiple Indian states have intensified crackdowns on illegal LPG storage, hoarding, and black marketing amid ongoing shortages. Raids in Delhi's Mundka area seized 610 cylinders from a distributor storing multiple brands unlawfully, while Maharashtra and Telangana saw seizures of hundreds of cylinders and arrests for illegal refilling and misuse of subsidized domestic gas. Uttar Pradesh reported over 4,800 inspections, 70 FIRs, and 10 arrests targeting distributors and individuals involved in black marketing. Investigations and prosecutions are ongoing to curb these violations.
