Ranchi District Police reported arresting 416 individuals for various crimes throughout 2025. Among those apprehended, 17 were linked to Naxalite activities. The police also seized 134 firearms, 362 cartridges, 70 mobile phones, 24 vehicles, and Rs 17.60 lakh in cash. A total of 2,648 crimes, including organized crime, arms cases, vehicle thefts, snatching, and robbery, were reported in the district during the same year. The police affirmed their commitment to continued action against criminals.
