Former TDB Member K.P. Sankara Das Arrested in Sabarimala Gold Theft Case

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) arrested former Travancore Devaswom Board member K.P. Sankara Das at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram in connection with the Sabarimala gold theft cases involving loss from temple idols and door frames. His arrest follows criticism from the Kerala High Court over delays, as he was undergoing treatment in intensive care. Sankara Das, the 11th or 12th accused, is expected to be produced in court for remand proceedings.
