A Delhi court has sent three more individuals to judicial custody in connection with the violence that erupted during an anti-encroachment drive near the Faiz-e-Elahi mosque in the Turkman Gate area. The accused are alleged to have pelted stones at police personnel, injuring six. Police have apprehended 16 people so far, with investigations ongoing. The drive, which cleared significant encroached land, was reportedly triggered by a social media post falsely claiming the mosque was being demolished.
