
Three Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) near the Indo-Nepal border in Bihar's East Champaran district for attempting to enter India without valid documents. An Indian national, Md Sarfaraz Ansari, was also arrested for allegedly assisting them. The Bangladeshi individuals, identified as Md Shanihur Rahman, Md Sobaij, and Md Firoz, had reportedly entered Nepal on tourist visas and were trying to cross into India on December 31, 2025. Central agencies, including the Intelligence Bureau, have been informed and are investigating their motives.
