Man Critically Injured in Rajasthan After Allegations of Cow Smuggling

A man identified as Sahun Khan was severely injured in Rajasthan's Khairthal-Tijara district after villagers allegedly beat him on suspicion of cow smuggling. Police reported that Khan and three others were attempting to take three cows when villagers noticed and chased them. While two escaped, Khan was apprehended and allegedly assaulted, sustaining fractures in his hands and legs. He has been referred to Jaipur for surgery, and authorities are investigating the incident.
