Brother-Sister Duo Arrested in Nuh for Alleged Rs 5 Lakh Extortion Attempt

A brother-sister duo in Nuh was arrested for allegedly attempting to extort Rs 5 lakh from Soyeb, a local resident, by threatening to implicate him in a fake rape case. The woman reportedly stole Soyeb's mobile phone and used it to pressure him. After recording threatening calls, Soyeb approached police, who set a trap and caught the siblings accepting Rs 75,000 in marked currency. The woman was sent to judicial custody, while her brother was granted bail.
