Man Attempts Arson on Ex-Colleague's House in Ludhiana; Occupants Escape Safely

In Ludhiana's New Madhopuri area, Ram Shabad, a 55-year-old former co-worker, allegedly attempted to set a rented house on fire by pouring petrol at the entrance. The woman occupant and her two daughters escaped unharmed through the rear door after sensing the petrol smell. During the incident, Shabad caught fire and sustained serious burn injuries and is receiving treatment in Chandigarh. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter, with CCTV footage capturing the event.
