Delhi Couple Arrested in Connection with Brother's Murder After Two-Month Probe
Delhi police arrested Gopal and his wife Soma on June 15, two months after a decomposed male body was found stuffed inside mattresses and blankets in a plastic sack near a factory in west Delhi's Moti Nagar area. The victim, identified as Amit Kumar through a tattoo reading "Amit-Kiran," died from manual strangulation and head injury. Investigations revealed prolonged family disputes, including alleged harassment by Amit towards Soma. The probe involved analyzing over 300 CCTV cameras, issuing 200 notices, and raids across multiple states.
