Chandigarh Police Arrest Bangladeshi Migrant for January Hoax Bomb Threats
Chandigarh police arrested Saurav Biswas, a 30-year-old illegal Bangladeshi migrant residing in West Bengal, for sending hoax bomb threat emails to multiple Chandigarh schools and the Punjab Civil Secretariat in January. Biswas, a freelance web designer, was initially detained in Ahmedabad for a similar offence. Investigations revealed he bought and sold hundreds of Gmail accounts, some linked to Bangladesh. Police are probing further connections, with additional FIRs filed in Delhi for related cases.
