Four staff members of a private school in Kanpur have been booked for allegedly mentally harassing an eight-year-old Class 2 student. The family claims the boy was falsely accused of stealing a pen on November 28, a day he did not attend school. Following the alleged incident, the child exhibited distress, including crying in his sleep and writing "Help" on walls. The complaint also alleges a coerced confession video and the school's refusal to share CCTV footage, instead pressuring the family to pay for the pen. An FIR has been registered, and an investigation is ongoing.
