A passenger, Ankit Dewan, alleges he was physically assaulted by an Air India Express pilot, Virender Sejwal, at Delhi Airport on December 19. Dewan, who reviewed CCTV footage, described the pilot as "maniacal" and stated he was hit and dragged, sustaining a nasal bone fracture. Police are examining CCTV footage and have registered an FIR. While Dewan claims the pilot was on duty and cutting a queue, the pilot alleges Dewan verbally abused him and states the incident was a personal matter between two passengers, not related to his professional duties.
