Malayalam Filmmaker Chidambaram Booked in 2022 Sexual Harassment Case in Kochi

Malayalam filmmaker Chidambaram S Poduval, known for directing 'Manjummel Boys' and 'Jan.E.Man,' has been booked by Ernakulam South Police in Kerala following a sexual harassment complaint filed by a female actor. The alleged incident reportedly occurred in 2022 at an apartment in Kochi's Elamkulam area. Charges under Sections 74 and 75 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita have been registered, and the filmmaker is yet to respond. Police have recorded the complainant's statement and plan to summon Chidambaram for questioning.
