Kerala Man Dies by Suicide Following Viral Video Alleging Bus Misconduct

A 40-42-year-old man named Deepak from Govindapuram, Kozhikode, was found dead by suicide after a video alleging his sexual misconduct on a bus to Payyannur went viral on social media. The video, recorded by a woman passenger, accused him of inappropriate touching and garnered over 20 lakh views. Deepak's family denied the allegations, claiming character assassination and severe mental distress due to online abuse. Police have registered an unnatural death case and are investigating the incident and related digital evidence, while the woman who posted the video has also faced cyber attacks.
