Youth and Two Minors Apprehended for Alleged Gang-Rape of Minor in Uttarakhand

In Dehradun district, Uttarakhand, police arrested a 19-year-old youth and apprehended two minors for allegedly gang-raping a 14-year-old girl on March 12 near the Haridwar Bypass. According to the victim's mother's complaint, the accused lured the girl, administered an intoxicating substance, and committed the assault before sending her home. The case is registered under the Indian Justice Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Police noted that the minors were known to the victim.
