Hyderabad Men Robbed of Rs 1 Crore After Chilli Powder Attack in Kukatpally

On March 16, 2026, two air-conditioner mechanics, Md. Khusru and Md. Azeemuddin, were robbed of Rs 1 crore near pillar number 837 in Kukatpally, Hyderabad. The assailants, riding motorcycles, threw chilli powder into the victims' eyes, causing them to fall before fleeing with a Gold Drop carton box containing the cash. Police have apprehended three suspects and are investigating the incident, including the cash's possible link to hawala transactions, while efforts continue to capture remaining suspects.
