
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrested a Bihar-based gang accused of drugging passengers on the Malabar Express train from Mangaluru to Kozhikode on March 13 and stealing their valuables. The suspects allegedly mixed sedatives into biscuits to incapacitate victims before looting cash, mobile phones, and laptops. The investigation involved CCTV footage analysis and tracking mobile phone numbers, leading to the suspects' interception at Kozhikode railway station. Stolen items and suspected drugs were recovered. The accused face multiple cases and will be produced in court.
