In Phagwara, Punjab, a roadside eatery was vandalized and its cook injured by a group of approximately a dozen individuals on Sunday night. The incident occurred near village Khurampur on the Phagwara-Hoshiarpur road. According to the eatery's manager, the group initially quarreled amongst themselves before attacking the cook with a blunt weapon. They later returned, broke the shutter's lock, and allegedly fired shots in the air. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
