Punjab Police Investigate Multiple Immigration Fraud Cases Involving Rs 84 Lakh

Punjab police have registered multiple cases involving immigration frauds totaling over Rs 84 lakh. In Phagwara, Gurjit Singh was accused of cheating Tarsem Lal of Rs 10 lakh by failing to arrange promised travel to Italy, with allegations of collusion involving the traveler's family. Separately, Sudhar police arrested Lakhvir Singh Sidhu and Reena Rani for defrauding victims, including police personnel, of Rs 74.5 lakh through fake immigration documents and visa promises to countries like Australia, England, and Canada. Investigations continue with a third accused still at large.
