
Punjab Police conducted 587 raids across the state on the 35th day of its anti-gangster campaign, arresting 183 individuals and recovering three weapons. Since January 20, the campaign has led to 11,265 arrests. Preventive actions were taken against 150 people, with 133 released after verification. Concurrently, the anti-drug drive 'Yudh Nashian Virudh' marked 360 days, resulting in 83 drug smuggler arrests and recovery of heroin, poppy husk, tablets, and cash. Authorities also encouraged public cooperation through a helpline and promoted de-addiction efforts.
