Medical College Staff Nurse Dies by Suicide in Uttar Pradesh's Pratapgarh

A 32-year-old staff nurse at a medical college in Uttar Pradesh's Pratapgarh district died by suicide on Tuesday night. Identified as Atul Pandey, he reportedly used a country-made pistol at his residence. Family members found him after hearing a gunshot and took him to the medical college, where he was declared dead. Police recovered the weapon and have sent the body for post-mortem, stating the reason for the suicide is under investigation.
