
Chandigarh Police have dismantled an interstate and cross-border heroin trafficking syndicate, arresting five individuals and recovering over 1.1 kg of heroin valued at approximately Rs 2.35 crore, Rs 2.2 lakh in suspected drug money, a car, and packaging materials. The key accused, Aftab, was apprehended in Chandigarh and linked to contacts in France and Pakistan, with drugs routed through Amritsar. The network supplied heroin across Ambala, Ludhiana, and the Tricity region. All accused are in judicial custody, and investigations continue.
