Jammu and Kashmir Police apprehended two individuals, Ghulam Nabi Mir and Shabnum Nazir, in Ganderbal district on January 1st. During a naka checking operation, authorities recovered a pistol, ammunition, two hand grenades, and over Rs 8.40 lakh in cash. The police have registered a case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and Arms Act, and an investigation is underway to determine the source of the recovered items and the accused's potential terror links.
