Punjab and Haryana High Court Denies Bail in Two Financial Misappropriation Cases

The Punjab and Haryana High Court dismissed anticipatory bail pleas from two accountants accused of financial misconduct. One was charged with misappropriating Rs 11.15 lakh from a private firm, while the other faced allegations of involvement in a Rs 1.89 crore public funds scam linked to the Integrated Cooperative Development Project. Justice Sumeet Goel criticized repeated bail applications as attempts to delay justice and described such tactics as abuses of the legal process.
