
A 62-year-old man, Shamsher Singh, died from medical complications at the Pul Prahladpur police station in southeast Delhi after being taken there following a family quarrel over a property dispute. Police received multiple calls about the altercation and brought the parties to the station separately. Singh, who had pre-existing heart conditions, became unwell at the station and was taken to AIIMS Trauma Centre, where he died. Authorities have reported the case to the judicial magistrate and the National Human Rights Commission as per protocol.
