Six individuals have been arrested in Himachal Pradesh's Solan district for the brutal assault of a taxi driver, Ishan (27), with rods and sticks. The victim was critically injured and is hospitalized. Police identified the accused, all from Haryana and Chandigarh, after reviewing CCTV footage and a viral video. The motive is believed to be a long-standing dispute between rival bus and taxi operator groups in Kalka over passenger pick-up rights.
