Man Kills Mother-in-Law and Brother-in-Law in Bareilly, Shot Dead by Police

In Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, Afsar Khan allegedly killed his mother-in-law Asma and brother-in-law Adil and critically injured his wife Saima during a panchayat held to resolve a domestic dispute. Saima had previously filed a complaint against Afsar for threats. After the attack, Afsar fled but was shot dead by police during an encounter the following day. Saima remains hospitalized in critical condition. The accused had a history of violence, including a prior murder charge.
