Man Arrested for Threatening Bomb Explosion Near Ullal Mosque on Instagram

A 35-year-old man, Shankar Masthappa Mogera from Bhatkal, Uttara Kannada district, was arrested by Mangaluru City Police for posting a threatening message on Instagram about a bomb explosion near the Ullal mosque. The post was deemed inflammatory and capable of inciting communal hatred, leading to a case registered under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The accused was produced before the JMFC court, and his mobile phone was seized for investigation.
