Lucknow Police have filed an FIR against former MP Dhananjay Singh and approximately ten others in a land encroachment case. Vinay Singh, husband of the block chief, is also named. The case has further revealed alleged misconduct by Inspector Upendra Singh, who was sidelined by the Police Commissioner for reportedly disregarding a directive to act.
