Navi Mumbai police arrested three men from Amritsar, Punjab, in Pune district for trafficking high-grade heroin valued at approximately Rs 41.3 lakh. The suspects allegedly transported narcotics to Maharashtra via trucks entering through Madhya Pradesh, linked to a larger interstate drug network. Authorities seized heroin, an Austria-made Glock pistol, ammunition, a trailer truck, mobile phones, and a weighing scale, with total seized assets worth around Rs 1.03 crore. Investigations suggest the heroin may have been smuggled into India using drones along the international border, with further inquiries ongoing.
