Authorities in Fazilka, Punjab, have busted a cross-border drug smuggling network, arresting one individual and seizing over 5 kg of heroin. The State Special Operations Cell (SSOC) and Border Security Force (BSF) conducted the operation, intercepting a consignment reportedly sent by Pakistan-based smugglers via drone. The arrested suspect, Baljeet Singh, is from Fazilka district. Investigations are ongoing to uncover further connections within the network.
