Bengaluru Court Grants Conditional Bail to BJP MLA Byrathi Basavaraj in Murder Case

A special court in Bengaluru granted conditional bail to BJP MLA Byrathi Basavaraj in the July 2025 murder case of real estate operator V G Shivaprakash, also known as Bikla Shiva. Basavaraj, arrested in February 2026 and one of 20 accused, must comply with conditions including not influencing witnesses and cooperating with the investigation.
