Two Pune Women Die by Suicide Amid Alleged Harassment by Husbands and In-Laws

Two women in Pune died by suicide amid allegations of mental and physical harassment by their husbands and in-laws. In Baner, 27-year-old Ganga Tejas Bembalkar died after alleged dowry-related abuse by her husband and family, leading to an FIR against them. Separately, 25-year-old Rani Tirupati Kuhade from Warje Malwadi reportedly consumed poison following years of alleged abuse by her husband. Both cases are under police investigation with charges filed against the accused.
