Mohali police have arrested Neeraj, a 25-year-old domestic help, for the murder of Ashok Kumari Goel, wife of former Punjab Additional Advocate General Krishan Kumar Goel. The incident occurred on the night of December 29-30, when Neeraj, along with two accomplices, allegedly strangled Mrs. Goel during a robbery. They reportedly stole cash and gold jewelry. Neeraj, who had worked for the family for eight years, confessed to masterminding the crime after learning the AAG and his daughter were abroad. Police are searching for his absconding associates.
