Man Jumps From 23rd Floor With Toddler in Gurugram, Both Die; Police Investigate

In Gurugram's Joyville Society on Monday morning, Rahul Vijayran, a 35-38-year-old private school operator, allegedly jumped from the 23rd floor of a residential tower with his two-year-old daughter in his arms, resulting in both their deaths. Vijayran, originally from Delhi's Nangloi area, had reportedly suffered vision loss after contracting COVID-19, causing distress. The incident occurred around 7:30-8:00 am while his wife was at home. Police are investigating the suspicious circumstances, including why he jumped from a tower different from his residence, with no suicide note found and the family declining legal action.
