Caretaker Booked for Alleged Assault on 77-Year-Old Alzheimer's Patient in Kandivali

A 77-year-old Alzheimer's patient in Kandivali West was allegedly assaulted by his 34-year-old caretaker, Bishu Anil Soni, resulting in a fractured thumb and swelling. The family, who hired Soni through the Neha Manav Centre two months ago, discovered the injuries after reviewing CCTV footage installed in the patient's room. The caretaker was booked by Charkop police following a complaint by the patient's son, Navin Rajput, who sought medical examination and police intervention after the incident.
