Ram Rahim Castration Case: Witness Seeks Deferment, Counsel Presence Denied During VC

A US-based witness in the castration case against Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has requested a deferment of his cross-examination due to ongoing eye treatment for retinal vein occlusion. The special CBI court granted him one month to confirm his fitness for testimony via video conference. The witness also sought permission for his counsel to be present during the VC, a request partially denied, allowing the counsel at the Consulate office but not in the VC room.
