Mumbai airport authorities intercepted two women arriving from Thailand, seizing over 4.5 kilograms of hydroponic weed. The first passenger, Vaishnavi Ravi Chandran, was found with 915 grams concealed in her trolley bag. The second, Sunita Thandapani Yadav, was apprehended with 3.603 kg hidden in food boxes. Both were arrested under the NDPS Act and remanded to judicial custody, with the contraband valued at approximately 91.5 lakh.
