In Mumbai's Bandra area, a 40-year-old JCB driver was arrested for causing death by negligence after a woman sleeping at Chimbai ground was fatally crushed by the machine while it was being reversed. The incident occurred on Friday night. The victim, whose identity is yet to be confirmed, was taken to a hospital where she was declared dead. The driver has been arrested under the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, and investigations are ongoing.
