Explosion at Nagpur Explosives Factory Kills Dozens, Injures Many

A powerful explosion occurred early Sunday morning at the detonator packing unit of SBL Energy Limited, an explosives manufacturing factory in Raulgaon, Katol tehsil, Nagpur district, Maharashtra. The blast killed between 15 and 20 workers and injured 15 to 24 others, many critically. Rescue operations by NDRF, SDRF, and local authorities are ongoing. The exact cause remains under investigation. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis and Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed condolences and announced financial aid for victims' families. DNA tests are being conducted to identify charred bodies.
