The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a chargesheet against Al Falah University and its chairman Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui, alleging money laundering and regulatory violations linked to the November 2025 Red Fort blast. The probe claims the university hired doctors connected to the blast without police verification, employed faculty 'on paper' to meet National Medical Commission (NMC) norms, and admitted fake patients before inspections. Assets worth about Rs 140 crore have been provisionally attached, while investigations into financial irregularities and terrorism links continue.
