Bank of America has reached a tentative settlement to resolve a class action lawsuit accusing it of facilitating Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking through suspicious financial transactions. The lawsuit, filed in October, alleges the bank prioritized profit over preventing abuse. The settlement, pending approval by U.S. District Judge Jed Rakoff, would halt a scheduled trial and deposition of Apollo co-founder Leon Black, who has denied wrongdoing. Similar settlements were previously reached with JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank.
