Cashier Shot Dead by Masked Assailants at Chandigarh Chemist Shop
On Saturday afternoon in Chandigarh's Sector 11 market, two masked assailants entered Shree Kumar Medicos and shot cashier Janki Das multiple times at close range. He was rushed to PGIMER hospital, where he later died. The attackers fled on a motorcycle with a third accomplice waiting outside. Police are investigating motives including old rivalry and extortion, examining CCTV footage and conducting a search for the suspects. Two others reportedly sustained injuries during the incident.
